When Can I Depart?
The Mentawai Fast ferry departs Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from Muaro Padang at 07:00. Not all days work for every package — see the schedule below. Year-round availability, small groups only (max 8).

Mentawai tribe tour prices start from USD 215 per person (group of 3+, 3-day tour) up to USD 620 (solo, 7-day tour). The most popular package is the 4-Day Explorer at USD 273/person (group). All prices are fully all-inclusive: guide, ferry, accommodation, meals, permits. No booking fees.
Fixed costs — ferry tickets, transfers, permits, guide — are the same whether there is 1 person or 5. When traveling solo, you cover all fixed costs alone. In a group of 3+, those costs are split. The group rate (USD 215–420 depending on duration) is the best value, but solo rates are still all-inclusive with no surcharges beyond the fair cost structure.
Yes. The price covers your guide, round-trip fast ferry (Padang ↔ Siberut), all island transfers, traditional UMA longhouse accommodation, all meals, and all permits (government + tribal chief level). The only things not included are: flights to Padang, hotel in Padang before/after, travel insurance, and optional paid add-ons (traditional tattoo, Turuk Laggai dance).

Yes. Early Bird discount of 10% off is available for 2027 departures booked before 30 November 2026. Group pricing (3+ people) is already the lowest per-person rate. Contact Andrian on WhatsApp to check current availability and pricing for your dates.
If you cancel 45+ days before departure, your deposit is refunded in full, minus bank fees. 30–44 days before departure: 50% of your deposit is refunded. Less than 30 days: the deposit is non-refundable — ferry tickets and permits are already booked and non-recoverable at that stage — but your trip is rebookable within 12 months at no extra charge. If cancellation is caused by force majeure (natural disaster, government travel ban, or official advisory), options are handled case-by-case, which may include rescheduling or a partial refund depending on costs already committed. Travel insurance covering trip cancellation and force majeure is strongly recommended.
